General Purpose Hydrometers with Density and Specific Gravity Scales

These commercial grade hydrometers are suitable for a wide variety of purposes. They are ideal for use as range finders in laboratories, or in general use when the highest precision is not required. They offer the following features:

Clear, easy to read double scales A choice of density or specific gravity scales. Density Scales (g/ml) calibrated at 20°C. Specific Gravity at 15.6°C or 28.9°C (S60/60°F or S84/84°F). Calibrated for low surface tension below 1.000 and medium surface tension above 1.000. Calibrated for reading at the horizontal surface of the liquid.

These general-purpose hydrometers have individual serial numbers and datum lines, and are suitable for certification. To specify a product use the prefix shown, followed by the start of the range. For example, a 1.000/1.300 S60/60°F range finder would be GF2578/100. (Use GHxxxx/ prefix for S84/84°F).

Short General Purpose (0.060 range)
These hydrometers are 160 mm long, with 0.001 scale divisions. All ranges available from 0.700/0.760 to 1.840/1.900.
S60/60°F (15.6°C): GF1648/      Density at 20°C: GG1648/

Standard General Purpose (0.100 range)
These hydrometers are 230 mm long, with 0.002 scale divisions. All ranges available from 0.600/0.700 to 1.900/2.000.
S60/60°F (15.6°C): GF2563/      Density at 20°C: GG2563/

Standard Wide Range (0.200 range)
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.002 scale divisions. All ranges available from 0.600/0.800 to 1.800/2.000.
S60/60°F (15.6°C): GF2573/      Density at 20°C: GG2573/

Range Finder (0.300 range)
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.005 scale divisions. All ranges available from 0.700/1.000 to 1.600/1.900.
S60/60°F (15.6°C): GF2578/      Density at 20°C: GG2578/

Range Finder (0.500 range)
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.005 scale divisions. Ranges available: 0.700/1.200, 1.000/1.500, 1.500/2.000.

1.000-2.000 Range Finder
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.010° scale divisions.
