General Purpose Hydrometers with Twaddle and Baume Scales

These commercial grade hydrometers are for use in those industries that have not adopted density or specific gravity as the standard unit of measurement. They offer the following features:

Clear, easy to read double scales Twaddle Scales calibrated at 60°F (15.6°C) or 84°F (28.9°C). Baume Scales calibrated at 15°C, 60°F (15.6°C), or 84°F (28.9°C). Calibrated for medium surface tension. Calibrated for reading at the horizontal surface of the liquid. Hydrometers have serial numbers and datum lines, and are suitable for certification.

Twaddle Hydrometers

These hydrometers measure degrees Twaddle, and are available in the following ranges in either short or long versions:
Twaddle No.1, 0-24°
Twaddle No.2, 24-48°
Twaddle No.3, 48-74°
Twaddle No.4, 74-102°
Twaddle No.5, 102-138°
Short hydrometers are 160 mm long, with 1.0° scale divisions. Long hydrometers are 230 mm long, with 0.5° scale divisions. To specify a product use the prefix shown, followed by range number.
Short Twaddle at 60°F: GT1642/      Short Twaddle at 84°F: GU1642/
Long Twaddle at 60°F: GT2335/      Long Twaddle at 84°F: GU1635/

°Baume Hydrometers

These hydrometers measure degrees Baume (modulus 145) for liquids heavier than water. To specify a product use the prefix shown, followed by start of the range. For example, a hydrometer measuring 20-40°Baume at 60°F would be GB2530/20.

10°Baume
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.1° scale divisions. Available from 0/10° to 60/70°, calibrated at various temperatures.
60°F: GB2520/      84°F: GC2520/      15°C: GA2520/

20°Baume
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.2° scale divisions. Available from 0/20° to 50/70°, calibrated at various temperatures.
60°F: GB2530/      84°F: GC2530/      15°C: GA2530/

30°Baume
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 0.5° scale divisions. Available in 0/30° and 30/60°, calibrated at various temperatures.

50°Baume
These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 1.0° scale divisions. Range covered is 0/50°, available calibrated at various temperatures.

These hydrometers are 250 mm long, with 1.0° scale divisions. Range covered is 0/70°, available calibrated at various temperatures.
